If you search for the word "danzou" in a dictionary for proper names, you'll find the above out of just a few possibilities, almost all of them being just a variation of the same thing, but still this combination maybe the origin.
団 means group and is the same kanji in 団扇, which is read as Uchiwa and means fan. In other words, 団 is used in the same word Uchiha is based on.
蔵 means storehouse or hide.
The combination has a lot of meaning when you consider Sai, who if he is an Uchiha, then Danzou could be "storing" or hiding him from the rest of Konoha. Also, given the ANBU Root moto, "support from underneath" and Danzou's meeting place, its not hard to imagine the ANBU Root's Headquarters being storehouse like.
Taken to an extreme, it could also mean Sai isn't the only Uchiha among the ANBU Root, but that's an extreme interpretation of the name.
Of course, I admit this could be all coincidental and means nothing. I also know this is not proof of anything, but it is an interesting bit of information.
