I'm still waiting for the Rain to fall Pour real life down on me 'Cause I can't hold on To anything this time. |
The rain is considered to be both a burden and a bud of new hope. To some, it is a dreary experience... nothing but grey skies and no sun. For others, a blissful, intoxicating few moments where all the troubles of life are washed away... and when the sun rises again, it is the genesis of a new time full of peace and harmony. The day was very young... they sky hazy... however, even at this time, the sun showed no evidence of arriving. Light droplets trickled down from the sky sporadically, though it wasn't nearly enough to be considered rain just yet. It was drizzling... however, that was enough to make a certain teenage girl perk up.
Miyu Takahashi stood in the center of a small clearing, looking up at the grayed sky, a small hint of a smile brushing her pale features. It had been so long since she had seen any sign of rain... and even this small amount was enough to brighten up her day. The brunette's hand rose to her forehead, blocking the droplets from splattering in her azure eyes. As a drop hit her nose, she looked down at it, making her eyes cross as she pondered about a way to rid herself of it. Finally, she decided it was best to simply wipe it off, rather than get it off with her tongue. Miyu had sworn to herself never to try that stunt again. Nonetheless, she reached up and wiped at the top of her nose, ridding herself of the annoying little droplet.
Some would have attempted to stand under a tree or something of the sort when the rain grew slowly heavier, however, Miyu was a different case. The brunette looked up again, not shielding her eyes this time as her smile grew larger with every passing moment.Though she fought it, her azure eyes came to a close since the raindrops were slowly finding their way onto their surface. A playful giggle escaped her throat, an action which was completely subconsciously made, however, she didn't mind. It was too quiet anyway.
Miyu slowly made her way around the circular clearing, simply pacing around, her arms folded behind her back as she was entranced by the sweet smell of the falling rain. Everything was simply so fresh and clean... and when she made it back to the center, she flopped on the ground in a sitting position her arms clamped tightly around her folded legs. The grin stayed put on her face until the fell backward to a laying down position. Sure, she was getting muddy, but that was half the fun of it! The rain would clean her off, anyway. Her grin shifted to a gentle smile, completely at peace. A soft sigh emitted from her lips as she rested her eyes for a sole moment.
A few minutes past and her eyes shot open. [purple]'Wasn't there something I had to do...?'[/purple] her stance assumed a sitting formation once more, though this time, she was leaning back slightly, propping herself up with her hands which were now soaked in mud. The rest of her was nearly completely clean, seeing as the rain had only just begun moments ago... though her mind kept seesawing about a task she had yet to complete. Then, her mind settled on what it was. [purple]'Eh... I was supposed to deliver a package to some old guy... pfft... that old geezer can wait!'[/purple] Miyu nodded, satisfied with her decision. Yeah, like she would just ignore the nice weather because some old fart needed some box. No chance... it was raining, and she had every right to stop and enjoy it. The old dude was probably dead by now, for all she knew. Miyu Takahashi - ever the optimist.
Even at this early time, the day had been perfect. The sky was grey, the sun was hidden... the ideal morning. When Miyu had looked out the window of her hotel room, she instantly knew that the day would be perfect. Sure, on the way here, some kid was jumping in a puddle from the precious day and splashed her with a disgusting half water - half sludge substance, however, she taught that kid one heck of a lesson for that, so her day continued to be nice.
A small little badger came out through the trees and approached Miyu as it set something down. It was a small leaf. A useless, soggy leaf. Miyu's raised a brow on one side and flattened her eye on the other, her expression changing from ignorant bliss to complete bafflement. She picked up the leaf. [purple]"Eh...? What am I supposed to do with this?"[/purple] The brunette looked at the badger, both of her eye brows raised this time. [purple]"Eh... no thanks...."[/purple] she put the leaf on the badger's head.
The small badger was drawn aback by the new headgear that was uncomfortably saturated with water. It attempted to shake the thing off, however, its attempts failed. Miyu's focus had been pulled from the rain entirely as she watched the little creature with new found fascination. Why did it want to bring her a leaf, anyway? It was kinda weird. Nonetheless, it was entertaining. After a while of watching the poor thing run around, attempting to rub the leaf off of its head, Miyu finally took pity and walked over to the startled creature, bending over and gently lifting the crumpled mess that was once a leaf, shoving it in her pocket in order to please the small animal.
After making sure that the object was off of its head, the badger shook itself one more time, its fur rippling with little drops that danced off of its coat. It paused and took one look at Miyu and stuck a little pink tongue out at her. The brunette stood up in astonishment, though soon enough, her eye starting twitching slightly. Who knew that such an innocent little creature could be such a little pain in the butt! She folded her arms in front of her chest and faced her head away from the badger to establish a sense of superiority, however, the creature had already disappeared. Miyu then decided that it must have had some sort of mental issue.
Having settled on that decision, Miyu instantly remembered that it had been raining... and heck, was it. It was pouring down in blankets, wetting her silky hair to an extreme. Her clothes were clinging tightly to her slightly curvy form as she continued to stare at the sky, lost in her content state of mind. [/size]

She walked slowly through the town; watching the precious memories close to her heart. Sasuke had decided to almost never speak to her again. She felt a pain burying in her heart. She always felt a certain painful memory haunting deeply. She sighed. She stopped. There was a cold feeling on her shoulder. She blinked and wondered what it was. She looked on her shoulder, and a small dot of water sat there.
She blinked and looked up. It began to rain. She didn't have an umbrella with her, but she wasn't ready to go home quite yet. She continued walking toward the clearing in the forest. She saw the bridge that led toward the forest. She slowly began walking over it and she watched the ground below her. She walked at a slow and steady pace; not to fast, not to slow. Just in between. She stopped for a moment and felt her eyes drifting asleep.
Her eyes flashed opened. The rain began to fall heavier. It was ridiculous. Why had she decided to go for a walk on a day like this? She sighed. Nevermind that she thought. She continued walking across the bridge when she reached the other side. She stopped. She looked both ways. The forest was quiet apart from the rain falling on the trees filled with green leaves. She loved the smell of the rain on the leaves. It was comforting for her anyways. She didn't know which way to go.
She decided to go to the right. She walked slowly when she heard a little badger move from the trees. She watched it as it vanished behind the leaves. She followed it slowly toward the center of the forest. She saw a girl leaning against a tree. She stood there for a moment. The cold rain numbing her body. She blinked. Who was this girl? She saw the badger offer the girl a leaf. She refused it. The badger seemed to be sad.
She smiled. She giggled as the badger ran around trying to get the leaf off its head. She shook her head at watched the girl. It was pretty cute. She raised an eyebrow as she turned away from the badger. She wondered what happened. The badger ran away and she continued to watch the girl in the distance. What had happened?

((Sorry - this post wont be very long, seeing as 3 keys broke off my computer and it continues to taunt me >.>))
Miyu's azure eyes darted around the immediate area, her lips slightly forming into a slight pout as she found herself alone... that, and dreadfully bored. As the brunette sat on the ground, she hummed a little tune to herself, until eventually, her lips pursed and her soft humming grew to a rather shrill whistle. Thought Miyu ignored it, the incessant noise most likely scattered all of the forest creatures who had been watching her as if she was crazy. Though the recent events pointed to the conclusion that their judgement was correct, the brunette still tuned everything else out. The rain was nice, sure.. but how much could one really do in it...
The only thing Miyu could think of doing was looking up at the sky, her eyes getting drenched as well as her hair. The droplets meandered down her pale face as the glimmer in her water soaked eyes grew more and more evident as the foreign moisture was rejected from her eyes and forced out like tear of sorrow or happiness. Either one could be used to describe the teen's mood at the moment, for the rain made her both ecstatic and melancholy at the same time. Such a feat is accomplished quite often in the brunette's life, however, even if sorrow or pain followed her, she never let it show. There was always a smile etched on Miyu Takahashi's face. It was only when she was alone could the silent tears be formed.
Even through the thick blanketing of the mist and rain, the drops running down her face almost looked like tears until she leaped up, her saturated hair jiggling slightly. She was no longer alone... that was easy enough to see.
[purple]"Oi, whoever you are, come out..."[/purple]
Miyu had no idea who or where the person was... all she knew was that there was now two human life forms in the vicinity, including herself. The brunette folded her arms slightly as she waited impatiently for the other organism to appear in any direction. Friend or foe, she would be prepared as she tensed every muscle in her body, fully expecting to be jumped from behind or something of the sort. [/size] ((OOC:// So sorry about that. I lost a key in the middle of this post... so I am now lacking 4 keys! When my keyboard is fixed, my post length with increase, I promise ♥ ))

Sakura smirked. She figured the girl would realizethat she was standing for quite an amount of time. She came out of the shadows to reveal herself to the brunette standing in the distance. She looked over at the brunette and blinked. She raised an eyebrow. She was a chuunin now, after a long year of hard work. It finally came true. She disliked the way the little random girl to have a snotty attitude with her. The brunette didn't have to like her...but respect her when she was around would be appreciated.
She crossed her arms and blinked again. The rain chilled every bone and muscle in her body. She didn't care. She had gotten used to it. She looked over at the brunette standing a few feet away from her. What was this girl going to do to her? She had been trained by Lady Tsundae herself in the medicine field and sparring field. She could take away on almost anyone. Almost anyone. She blinked, again. What was this girl doing out in the forest anyways?
She blinked again. She had been almost constantly training with or without Naruto, Tsunade, or Sasuke. It didn't matter to her anymore. She learned how she could train by herself anyways. "Why are you out here in the cold?" she asked the brunette. She figured that she would ask her the same question. She wasn't sure herself. She guessed that she needed to feel something in her heart. She had felt pain for the longest time.
It was time for a change, she guessed. So she went for walk even though it started raining. She breathed in deeply and let the rain continue to cover her numb body. It didn't matter anymore. She sighed. Her breathed was easily visible from the cold. She wondered what would happen next. Would the brunette attack or remain standing there? [/color][/blockquote]
