The Plot

It is 3 years after the time skip, the protagonists all 17 years old, and for the ninja of the hidden villages, life is good. The Akatsuki are nowhere to be found, and Orochimaru is dead. Many shinobi believe that this is their happily-ever-after. Boy, if they knew how wrong they were.

In the far upper reaches of the Wind Nation, trouble is brewing. The Akatsuki had captured the host of their eighth tailed beast, and completed the removal and sealing of the demon. It was then things took a horrible turn for the worst. With the strength of the statue’s sealing jutsu fading from years of battering by escape-desperate inner demons, the eighth tailed beast was, per se, the straw that broke the camel’s back. Within a week of this eighth demon being sealed within the statue, the sealing jutsu fractured under the sheer power of all the inner demons. The newly escaped beasts all agreed on one thing; never again would they be sealed within a statue or, even worse, human scum. They discussed the matter, and, in the end, decided the only way to avoid recapture would be to meld together into one “super-demon”. But the tailed beasts weren’t finished there. They would make the humans pay for the years of imprisonment they had to endure. Oh yes, the humans would pay dearly…

And if the super-demon wasn’t enough, Orochimaru had his own plans. All his previous attacks on the Village Hidden in the Leaves had failed miserably, but he was still determined to find a way to cause Kohana to crumble. For this purpose exactly, he fathered four sons, one to live in each Hidden Village. Once they were old enough, these seeds of Orochimaru were each integrated into their assigned village, with one mission; turn the villages against each other, and destroy Kohana at any cost. Of course, no villager suspected the young children; they looked nothing like their father, or like their other siblings. Now their father’s plan begins to unfold… And no one can stop it.
